Antique Militaria & Americana Show
For the eighth year in a row, the Camp Jordan Arena in East Ridge, Tennessee, July 26-27, welcomed one of the Southeast’s premier gatherings for Civil War, antique militaria, and Americana enthusiasts. Collectors and dealers from all corners of the country converged for this annual event, one of two held each year by American Digger® magazine—the other show taking place in Charleston, South Carolina, every January. A vital part of hosting any successful show is getting the word out, especially to the general public. This marketing
was handled with precision, thanks to a well-coordinated mix of advertising and media outreach. Press releases further amplified coverage. “Nothing draws the public in like media attention,” noted show chairman Butch Holcombe. “It not only builds excitement for the event but also introduces new folks to the fascinating world of history collecting.” Inside the comfort of the large venue, more than 240 eight-foot tables were filled with treasures ranging from ancient relics to artifacts from World War II.

In addition to the incredible artifacts, the show offered a sense of community that regular attendees have come to cherish. Old friends reunited, new connections were made, and conversations flowed as freely as the coffee. For many, it wasn’t just about what was on the tables—it was about the shared passion for preserving and celebrating history. Dealers and attendees alike continue to rank this show among
their favorites. They cite the well-run venue, friendly and responsive hosts, easy access, strong attendance, solid sales, and an unbeatable atmosphere.
