Publisher’s Note: In the current supply chain issues and escalating prices due to the inflation we are all enduring, Civil War News is diligently looking at ways to keep our costs down while continuing to provide excellent products and services to our subscribers and advertisers. We are always looking for more streamlined and efficient ways to reduce labor costs. Our circulation processing company automatically mails renewal letters on the first day of each month. These are sent via email or USPS to subscribers whose account is about to expire in our system. The barcode on renewal letters allows us to use a scanner to pull up your accounts automatically for easier renewal access. To avoid delays and double renewal letters on our end, we process renewals in-house the same day we receive them in the mail. Lately, we have received numerous calls from subscribers complaining that they have received a duplicate renewal form when they have already mailed their checks. Please help us keep costs down by sending in your renewals as soon as possible. In turn, as long as we receive them before the first of the month, we will not be charged duplicate processing fees.
