The dog days of summer are fast approaching and we are very busy getting ready for the many activities and events that it one of our favorite times of the year. In May, we will have a table at the Ohio Civil War Show in Mansfield the weekend of the 6th & 7th presented by The Williams Family. We are also excited and looking forward to attending the Gettysburg Civil War Show which is presented by the Gettysburg Battlefield Preservation Association. If you are planning to attend either show, make sure to come by our table to introduce yourself. We love to meet our readers and advertisers. In Gettysburg, don’t forget to pick up a copy of our special July Gettysburg section, which will be available at stores, B&B’s, restaurants, museums and will also be handed out at the reenactment the following week. We will be printing 12,000 copies again this year, as they were such a hit last year and the best part is that these are free to the public. Let us know if you are interested in advertising in this very special issue by contacting us via email or the phone number on the advertising section on the left side of this page. Civil War News is a very fortunate publication. It takes about 30-40 people to contribute to each issue with over 1,000 emails a month and over 10,000 pieces of mail a year. I’d like to thank each and every one of you that are a part of producing a work of this caliber and size.
