Your July issue of the Civil War News contains the annual Gettysburg section. Please note that it is not a separate section, but rather it is included in the center of the paper so that it does not fall out and get lost in the mailing process. The page numbers are designated with the letter G following the page number. We have recently been receiving calls, letters, and comments from readers that we meet in person at the Civil War shows we attend regarding the controversy surrounding the removal of Confederate statues and monuments. We want to hear more from our readers about your feelings regarding this sensitive subject and will devote an entire section in the August issue to cover this story from our subscribers’ viewpoints. Anonymity is guaranteed if requested, however, we are asking that you disclose your identity so that we can verify that all submissions come only from our subscribers.
